WASTELAND VIDEO ON DEMAND HELP DESK

All movies are downloadable, and yours to keep forever. To simplify matters, all movies are in Windows Media Format and bundled into "Zip" files to avoid any problems while downloading. Most modern computers will know how to "unzip" these files automatically when you download them, but if you are on an older computer, you may need to go get WinZip or a similar bit of software. WinZip.com offers a good one.

PURCHASE PROCESS:

1. When you find a video you would like to purchase, simply add the quantity of "1" next to the "Buy" button and at the bottom-right of each video information page, then Click the "Buy" button. This adds that video to your shopping cart.
2. Once you have selected as many videos as you would like to purchase, you can view your shopping cart buy clicking on the "View Cart" button at the top of the page. You may remove any videos you like on this page if you find you have gone on too much of a shopping spree!
3. If you are happy with your order, Click the "Checkout" button to go to the payment pages.
4. On the first of the checkout pages, please fill in your billing details as accurately as possible. This is for credit card authorization. The connection is secure and your information is safe and confidential. You may skip any "Shipping Information" as all videos are for download only and we do not need that information.
5. At the bottom of this page, there is also a place you can register with us in the event that you come back for another purchase to speed up the payment process, and be able to access your purchase history, download links, etc. in the future.
6. Once you are finished with this page, Click the Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
7. On this final purchase page, enter your credit card number, name as it appears on the card, type of credit card, expiration date, and verification number. When finished, Click "Submit Order" button at the bottom of the page.
8. If your card is approved by your bank, a final page will appear with a summary of your order, and a link to download all videos you have purchased during that shopping session. You will also receive a payment receipt and download link reminder in your email shortly.

DOWNLOADING AND PLAYING YOUR VIDEOS

1. On the order confirmation page, and in your email, there will be a link to download your video(s). Click it and, when prompted by your computer of where you would like to save this file, please select a place on your computer where you can find it. Depneding on your computer, you may also get a download challenge warning you about the dangers of downloading things from the internet. We certify our download files as 100% virus-free and safe.
2. All of our movies are in Windows Media format, and we have compressed all of them into "Zip" format which not only compresses the file size a bit for faster downloading, but also avoids some of the problems user may have with trying to directly download Windows Media Files.
3. Once your Zip file is completely downloaded, in most instances, your computer will automatically open an "UnZip" utility program that will extract the Windows Media movie file and place it in the same directory as where you downloaded the Zip file. Some older computers may prompt you for what application you would like to use to open this file. For simplicity, and if you get stuck at this point, go to either this tutorial site (PC users) or apple.com (Mac users) These sites will quickly guide you through the process, and offer links to free unzip utility programs if for some reason your computer does not have one.
4. Once you have UnZipped your movie, simply open the Windows Media file as you normally would with Windows Media player. Note To Mac users: You may open Windows Media movies with your Quicklime Player if you have downloaded the "Flip4Mac" plug in. We strongly recommend you do this as Microsoft has ceased all upgrades and support for Windows Media Player for Mac. Mac users may get a free copy of this program here.

NOTE TO MOBILE DEVICE MOVIE CUSTOMERS: Follow the same downloading process as detailed above, and then import the video into your mobile device using whatever software your mobile device company uses to synch media (i.e. ITunes for IPhone users, etc)
